"It feels like I have seen Darren over 50 times and was um-ing and ah-ing whether I would be bored listening to the same material again, so I came to the conclusion that at least I'm out of the house, so I went anyway. Boy was I wrong, it was ridiculously funny. The first 30 minutes was like a solid block of newish stuff that didn't quit, with laughs every second. It was just joke after joke in rapid secession that ultimately had me and the audience seeing spots. We got a break in the second part when he did the regular stuff. I think we would have burst a vessel if he didn't slow down even though it would've been a risk we would have gladly taken. The last part was blistering with the young guy in front of me with his dad keeling over numerous times from laughing, even I was seeing spots again. It was an hour of solid gags, he hardly used any time filling stuff like talking to the audience, even though he's an expert at that too. There was no way anyone left disappointed at that show"
During these challenging times where we seemed to be flooded by negativity and tension, sometimes you forget the importance of laughter, and the deep emotional impact it can have on your physical and mental state of being. With Government restrictions limiting our partner conference to a virtual event, Darren Sanders was able to bring a welcomed change of pace to our presentations and provided our partners with some much needed chuckling over the course of the three days.
