Darren
Sanders has been performing Stand Up Comedy since 1992 at Comedy
Clubs, Sporting Functions and Corporate Venues. MC and Corporate Comedy
clients include Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team, Optus, Mirabel Foundation,
Balmain Tigers Grand Final & Sportsman's Lunch, Variety Club, Clown
Doctors, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Macquarie Bank, Adelaide Crows
Football Club, Ivy Sports Luncheon, Phillip Morris, Victorian Police Testimonal
Luncheon, Lunch with the Ashes Legends and SCRUM (in PNG), Toyota, Oki,
Mulford Plastics and SurfControl Surf Lifesaving Golf Charity. Darren
was also a part of WS-FM's Sports program 'Whistles and Hooters' in 2005/06,
with a weekly comedic look at sport.
In
2006, The Dazz and Gazz Radio Show on TV was beamed out on TVS (CH31 in
Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide). The show was set in a Radio Studio with
the comedic pieces seperated by music videos made exclusively for the program.
Dazz and Gazz managed to score some top grade muso's including Tim Shaw,
Mal Eastick, Ben Little, Angry Tradesmen (with Rob Hirst and Martin Rotsey
from Midnight Oil) and had The Radiators shoot their only video ever made
of their classic hit, 'Gimme Head'. The show currently airs premiere episodes
on Foxtel & Austars Aurora Channel 183 Fridays at 10pm. www.dazzandgazz.com

rove, In Melbourne Tonight, Russell Gilbert Show)

In
May 2001 Darren opened The
Laugh Garage Comedy Club in the city of Sydney with fellow Comedian
Tony Bailey. The club moved to it's current home in Parramatta in 2004.
In
March 1998, Darren toured the USA where he performed at the MGM Grand in
Las Vegas, The Improv in Irvine and featured in Chicago and Idaho comedy
venues. He performs in all of the top class comedy clubs around Australia
regularly, from The Sit Down Comedy Club in Brisbane, The Laugh Garage Comedy
Club in Sydney and The Comedy Club in Melbourne. He was also a part of the
successful show in 2000 at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival,
'The Good Sport, The Bad Sport and The Ugly Sport'. The CD 'The Laugh Garage
presents', showcasing 25 top comedians in Australia was also produced by
Darren.
Darren
is a versatile Comedian with the necessary skills to MC, Host, Auction or
perform at any function.
